Witch hunt

Went to the theatre for the first time today, to see 'The Crucible' by Arthur Miller. It was very well done, very emotive. I love the play as I was one of the leads in secondary school production of it. I played super cow bag, Abigail Williams. It was so great to see a proper actress play her devious cunningness off perfectly! It was Matts first time to ever come across it and he enjoyed it, once he kinda got what was happening. It really shows the fear of the 'Christian' religious establishment of the time and the need to purify the community, yet scarily this purging is based on the lies of a selfish immoral girl, who wants anyone she doesn't like, out of the way! There was constant accuations, no love, grace or demonstration of true forgiveness. hmmmm...
