Chinese crossing a zebra...

Outside Westminster Central hall theres a zebra crossing. Funniest thing ever was seeing a group of chinese tourists being told by their guide what a zebra crossing is and how "if you put one foot down on it then the cars have to stop - like this" - and he demonstrated by poking one foot out onto the crossing, stopping cars, then quickly pulling it back in, then put it down again to stop the next car, then back again, it was like the hokey cokey - in, out, in, out!! Then one by one he got the whole group to each put their foot in and out on the crossing and then finally for the grand finale, each person got to practice walking across the crossing, then turned around and came back again! You can imagine the traffic jams that day in Westminster!!

Carry on nursing...

Sometimes i pray that i will never ever be seriously ill and have to go to hospital, or rather go to the hospital where my lovely little students will be fully fledged nurses. It's just scary when they tell us stories like they did last night! I love Rach very much but this is just petrifying!!

Rachy rach has managed already to blow up the blood pressure machine, be taken into hospital, take a friend into hospital and act like its a fun night out, screeching across the casualty dept and misinforming staff. She has also managed to go to the loos in the hospital and seeing a small hatch next to her while ont' bog, she decides to open it and thus comes face to face with a room full of people, screams and slams the door shut. As her friend who she's 'caring' for faints by the taxi home, due to her traumatic time there with Rachel trying to nurse her, Rachel is inside the taxi shouting - Hurry up, whats the hold up!!!! Get in the taxi and you'll be fine!

Darling Rach. I thank God that he's the God of miracles and also do let me know where your first nursing job will be so i can make sure i end up as far away as possible! It's enough to make you want to go private!
